Detailed description of project

The objective of this assignment is to study the current information systems, information field and appropriate procedures which are operating in the social protection sphere and to elaborate technical assignments for modernization of the current information systems and for software packages of the automated data exchange between the information systems.

The following information systems proposed:

  1. “Social Card” Intranet system
  2. “Paros” poverty family allowance system
  3. “Parnas” personified reporting (registry) system of the persons who are eligible for the pension insurance
  4. “Araks” information system of pensioners
  5. “Gorts” job seekers registration system
  6. “Pyunik” disabled registration system
  7. Application-response system
  8. “Manouk” information system of the necessary data for the adoption and registration of children placed (being placed) in orphanages and other similar organizations

9. System of coordination of the information regarding social programs implemented by the public benevolent organizations

Type of services provided

Management Mix assured consulting services on the current information systems and actual procedures which are operating in the social protection sphere. Management Mix is in charge of elaborating technical assignments for modernization of the current information systems and for software packages on the automated data exchange between the information systems. For this purpose we mobilized a team of experts to conduct the various phases of the project which include the development of the work plan and finalizing project assignments. The second phase includes regulatory studies and implementation of technical assignments. The final phase is the reporting phase.

Proposed activities include study and assessment of the information systems aimed at drafting and further finalizing technical assignments (TORs), study of the relevant regulations, study and analysis of business procedures, studying international experience and trends in introduction of ITs in Governmental agencies, situation and perspectives in ICT introduction in Armenian state sector and e-government development, development of recommendations, etc.
